Well, it's about time again for a mini-update on the life that is my own.

-3 Day Weekend
First off I've got to say that last weekend was pretty amazing. Friday night I watched movies, hockey, and got wasted. Saturday morning when I woke up I rollerbladed until I couldn't breathe anymore...which didn't take as long as it used to. :( I threw the football around, played tennis, jumped in the pool, went for golf-cart rides, watched hockey, watched more movies, got wasted.. lol. Sunday pretty much was the same day, except I went home around... 4 or 5 or something, and washed some clothes and stuff. Boring.

This weekend is a 3-day weekend for me, hell yeah! I'm gonna do something...whatever it is. maybe just hang at the beach, or go fishing, or i don't know really...bbq outside and drink beer and play guitar? if i want to do it i will on my day off ;)

I think I'm going to start exercising more, or at least rollerblade. Its fun enough, and 2 or more people is great! Not to mention healthy :) especially if you're an aggressive flailer like me...

-Rivethead CD Release Party
If you do not know this group Rivethead, check out their myspace (myspace.com/rivethead) and listen to the songs.. they just released their 4th album, The 13th Step, and the CD release party is April 26, all the info should be on their myspace or their website, rivetheadonline.com. I really encourage any of you with adequate transportation (or rockin friends) to make the trek to Dallas for that.

-A Day In The Country
"A Day In The Country" is something sponsored by Houston 93Q radio (kkbq.com) where a few stars show up. I can't remember who all made ti the past couple years, Cross Canadian Ragweed was one of them and I think Billy Ray Cyrus one year? anyway, the oldies station is there too blaring loud tunes, and live country concerts back to back, expensive food and beer tents around every corner. Whee. I've been invited by a few people this year for the May 17 event but I don't think I want to go.. I've been slowly crawling away from Country in the past.. 8 years? and if the only country songs I know are 5 years old and older, I'm content. Bring on the heavy metal, classic rock, thrash metal, industrial (see Rivethead) and more. 93.7 and 94.5, with some 89.7, 103.7, 96.5, 106.9, and 107.5 thrown in for you Houston folk! ( I STILL miss ROCK 101 KLOL btw) But yeah i am still debating attending A Day In The Country.

-No More Caffeine
I decided to give up caffeine for a while..well really i'm trying to drink less soda because it really sucks...and water is really good for you...and so i decided also that i would give up caffeine as a kind of experiment on myself to see what all the effects will be, if i sleep better, wake up feeling better, whatever. combine that with a slightly rigorous semi exercise routine and i'll be doing fantastic.

you know, maybe while i'm drinking all this water i'l also rework on training my voice and sound great. maybe i just miss choir too much.

-Summer
i'm going to south padre island this summer on 4th of july weekend, it should be a blast. i don't know what all we're going to do (mom, dad, sis, bro, me) but it will be a blast. i'll also probably go to Schlitterbahn a couple times, and maybe just to New Braunfels to go tubing down the Comal river there. shit yeah! of course those won't be family, so friends are invited...probably. i'l have to ask the people i'm going with.

As for myself... I'm doing ok. work sucks yet again, and since my camaro took a shit on me i'm prepared to buy another car at the end of the month. what i'll get i have no clue, but it'll more than likely be am american 2-door, at least 2005 MAYBE 2004... but american. t-tops or convertible would be kickass for cruisin, which i plan on doing a lot of...

oh and if any of you use Google Reader to read RSS feeds, and you share articles of interest, why don't you send me your username so i can friend you and we can share feeds, i'm trying to get a broader range of streaming info.

anyway, well what are you guys up to? wheres the new blogs with the updates of whats going on in your lives?
